One thing people don't talk about enough is that healing can uncover things you didn't even realize were affecting you.
As you work through old habits, stress, trauma, or unhealthy coping patterns, you may start noticing emotions, triggers, or struggles that were buried beneath the surface. That doesn't mean you're moving backward, it often means you're finally in a place where you can see and address them.
Healing isn't peeling off one layer and being done. It's a process of learning, growing, and understanding yourself more deeply over time.
So if you've been doing the work and suddenly find yourself facing something new, be gentle with yourself. Sometimes growth means uncovering what was hidden so it can finally heal too. ๐
