Meet the Therapist ✨
We are excited to introduce Amy Rowan, M.A., CCC-SLP! With 24 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the families she serves. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Arts in Speech/Language Pathology from Cleveland State University.
Throughout her career, Amy has worked in hospitals, schools, private practice, and autism treatment centers, supporting both children and adults across a variety of settings. She specializes in speech and language development for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, AAC, auditory processing disorders, social communication challenges, and more. Amy is also PROMPT trained and loves incorporating sensory integration and play-based learning into her sessions.
Amy believes the best progress happens when therapists, families, and other providers work together as a team. She is passionate about helping children feel motivated, confident, and successful while building communication skills that carry over into everyday life.
Outside of the clinic, Amy and her family enjoy traveling, sports, and exploring all that Georgia has to offer. We are so grateful to have her as part of the Cobblestone team 💜
