I am a multi-faceted wellness practitioner, equipped with a diverse set of training. I am certified in

neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and studied therapy modalities like EMDR and IFS under Dr. Krishna N. I’m a graduate of Yoga Farm Ithaca and have been trained in the Stillpoint Method of somatic mindfulness. I am also a Level II Reiki Practitioner and sound healer. My training with evidence-based strategies allows me to help you overcome limiting beliefs, achieve your goals, and heal from trauma. My mission is to empower individuals to unlock their inner brilliance, embrace their true selves, and navigate life’s transformative journey. When I created Morning Sunshine Oil, I wasn't just creating a scent...I was creating a feeling.

At St. Albans Yoga & Fitness Co-Op, everything we do is rooted in intention. We want people to walk through our doors and feel welcomed, supported, uplifted, and at home. I wanted this oil to embody that same energy.

The process starts with organic jojoba oil and a carefully layered blend of orange, lemon, lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, and ylang-ylang. Each oil was selected for a purpose. The bright citrus notes awaken the senses and invite joy. Lavender brings a sense of calm. Peppermint creates clarity and refreshment. Ylang-ylang adds a soft, heart-centered floral note that helps bring the entire blend into harmony.

But what makes this oil truly special is the intention behind it.

Every batch is infused with Reiki energy. As I create it, I hold the intention that whoever uses it feels a little more grounded, a little more hopeful, and a little more connected to themselves. I believe that energy matters. I believe that what we create carries our intention. And I believe self-care can be a sacred practice.

One of the most important lessons yoga has taught me is this: Don't put your yoga teacher on a pedestal.

Your teacher is human. They have struggles, fears, doubts, and lessons they're still learning too. They experience heartbreak, frustration, grief, joy, and growth just like everyone else.

A yoga teacher isn't someone who has "arrived." We are simply students who have spent time learning, practicing, and studying, and who choose to share what we've been given.

The practice doesn't belong to us. We are merely caretakers of the teachings, passing them along in service.

In many ways, teaching is how we deepen our own practice. We keep what we have by giving it away. Every class we teach is an opportunity to learn alongside our students, to embody the teachings a little more fully, and to remember that we are all walking each other home.

So rather than looking up to your teacher, sit beside them.

We're all learning.
We're all healing.
We're all practicing.

And that shared humanity is where the real magic lives.

After some reflection and thoughtful consideration, I’ve decided to shift and refine some of my offerings while I tend to a few health matters and navigate a new season of my life.

Now that I am an E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500, and YACEP®, I’ll be focusing more on continuing education-style workshops. These will explore areas such as sound healing, Ayurveda, Kundalini, archetypes, cueing, and Yoga Nidra. These workshops are not specifically for yoga instructors, and the public is welcome to attend—teachers will be eligible for CE credits through Yoga Alliance.

Don't worry! I will also continue to offer limited studio classes at St. Albans Yoga & Fitness Co-Op… a space that remains deeply important to this community and to me. However, instead of classes, I'll be introducing more private session opportunities and packages… creating fully personalized experiences and programs tailored to support your individual journey with in-person and virtual options.
