Have you ever wished people could understand what life with scoliosis is really like?

Scoliosis is often viewed as simply a curve in the spine, but people living with scoliosis know there's more to the story.

The challenges aren't always obvious:
β€’ symptoms aren't always visible
β€’ fatigue and discomfort can add up
β€’ confidence and self-image can be affected
β€’ support and understanding matter

Scoliosis can affect children, teens, and adults of all backgrounds, and every person's experience is as unique as they are.

During Scoliosis Awareness Month, we're committed to helping families throughout St. George and Southern Utah better understand scoliosis, posture changes, treatment options, and the challenges that can come with living with a spinal curve.

Whether you're a parent searching for answers, a teen navigating a new diagnosis, or an adult living with scoliosis, know that you're not alone.

πŸ’š Awareness creates understanding. Understanding creates support.

What's something you wish people understood about life with scoliosis?

One of the biggest misconceptions about scoliosis is that if others can't see it, it must not affect you.

But scoliosis is often about much more than a spinal curve.

Many people living with scoliosis experience:
β€’ pain and discomfort
β€’ muscle fatigue
β€’ posture changes
β€’ body image concerns
β€’ frustration with activities they once enjoyed

Because these challenges happen inside the body, they aren't always obvious to friends, family, teachers, coaches, or coworkers.

During Scoliosis Awareness Month, we're helping raise awareness about the physical and emotional impacts of scoliosis and supporting individuals and families throughout Southern Utah, Nevada and Arizona.

Whether you're navigating pediatric scoliosis, adolescent scoliosis, or adult scoliosis, understanding the full picture matters.

πŸ’š You don't have to see a struggle for it to be real. We understand that, and we care!

The reality of life with scoliosis isn't always visible.

What people can see is a curve.

What they don't always see is:
β€’ the self-consciousness
β€’ the frustration
β€’ the body image struggles
β€’ the fatigue
β€’ the discomfort
β€’ the questions that come with feeling different

For many children, teens, and adults with scoliosis, the physical curve is only part of the story.

As we begin Scoliosis Awareness Month, we want to shine a light on the hidden side of scoliosisβ€”the challenges that don't always show up on an X-ray.

Throughout June, we'll be sharing education, support, and resources for individuals and families throughout St. George and Southern Utah.

Whether you're newly diagnosed, a parent searching for answers, or someone who has been living with scoliosis for years, we hope you'll follow along.

You are more than a diagnosis, and you don't have to navigate scoliosis alone.

Many individuals experiencing TMJ-related symptoms report exploring multiple approaches while continuing to seek a broader understanding of the factors associated with jaw tension and mobility limitations.

TMJ-related discomfort is often influenced by more than the jaw itself.

β€’ How posture and neck mobility may influence jaw mechanics
β€’ The role stress and nervous system sensitivity may play in tension patterns
β€’ Educational information about non-invasive approaches commonly used to support mobility and function

This session is designed to provide insight into how the jaw, neck, muscles, and nervous system function together in relation to TMJ-related tension patterns.
