โ€œThis is the most wonderful, caring team of PTs that I have ever been blessed to attend! They are so well educated, it is so comforting to have them work on me for my needed care. Dan and Kayla is who I am praising. But to add to their list would not be complete if I did not compliment their receptionist, Jennifer. She just immediately brings a smile to their patients and fills us with JOY TO BE IN THEIR CARE! Weโ€™re thrilled to share that Strong Oaks Physical Therapy will be hosting the in-person classes for BodySoul Massage & Bodywork Schoolโ€™s Massage Therapy Certification Program right here in St. Johnsbury in 2027! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ

This means aspiring massage therapists in the NEK can train close to home and build a rewarding career without having to travel far. โค๏ธ

And for those who have dreamed of becoming a massage therapist, some students may even qualify to attend FREE through VSAC grants and scholarships! โœจ

๐Ÿ“ Classes will be held at Strong Oaks Physical Therapy in St. Johnsbury, VT
๐Ÿ“… Certification program coming to the NEK in 2027!
๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Classes will take place on Sundays, allowing us to share our space while keeping our regular clinic hours and patient care running as usual. ๐ŸŒฟ

Weโ€™re excited to welcome Rian Leonard, PTA to the Strong Oaks team! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’š

Rian is a local 2016 Danville High School graduate who went on to earn her Associateโ€™s degree in Physical Therapy from River Valley Community College.

She brings 6 years of outpatient experience and has worked with a wide variety of patients and diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions, stroke recovery, workplace injuries, and general deconditioning.

She is also certified in pelvic floor rehabilitation and is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in this area. ๐Ÿ’—

When sheโ€™s not at the clinic, Rian enjoys spending time with her family and getting outside. โ˜€๏ธ

We couldnโ€™t be happier to have her joining our team and canโ€™t wait for you to meet her!

Jen brought her sweet sidekick, Moji, to work today, and let's just say...if PT doesn't turn your day around, he will!! ๐Ÿฅฐ

So far he's been:
๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Supervising the gym (and testing the equipment, of course)
๐Ÿ‘‹ Greeting patients with a wagging tail
๐Ÿฅน Being ridiculously adorable (which is clearly a full-time job)
๐Ÿงน And if he's anything like his mom, he's probably already cleaned, organized, and found a more efficient way to run the clinic. ๐Ÿ˜„

Weโ€™re excited to introduce the newest member of our teamโ€”Jen, our new Administrative Assistant!

Jen was born and raised in Newport, VT, and later raised her two (now grown!) children in Hartford, VT. Last year, she purchased her very first home in East Concord and is loving being back in the country, enjoying everything the community has to offer.

Jen describes herself as a pretty simple person who enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly (we already love that about her!). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, watching a good movie, and trying new foods.
