You’ve ruled out infection — but the pain, urgency, and discomfort persist. Sound familiar?

In Part 2 of this video series, Jess dives into how pelvic floor dysfunction can mimic chronic UTI symptoms. Tight or overactive pelvic floor muscles can irritate nearby nerves and cause bladder-related pain that feels exactly like a UTI.

The good news? Pelvic floor physical therapy can help calm those muscles, improve control, and reduce symptoms — without unnecessary medication or surgery.

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone. 💛

Try this 10-minute pelvic floor meditation for relaxation:

🪑 Get into a comfortable position.
🌬️ Breathe deeply through your nose, letting your chest and belly expand. Exhale slowly, spending more time on your out-breath.
💡 For the first few minutes, focus on your breath to release stress. Then, shift your attention to your pelvic floor, imagining the muscles relaxing with each exhale.

A few minutes can help reduce tension and improve your well-being.

Going to the GYN shouldn’t feel overwhelming or unsafe — but for many survivors of sexual trauma, it often does.

In Part 2, Jess shares practical ways to make your appointment more comfortable, including how to communicate your boundaries, what to expect from a trauma-informed provider, and small tools that can help you stay grounded.

Your health matters, and so does your comfort. You have the right to go at your own pace, to stop at any time, and to work with someone who treats you with compassion.

💙 Healing takes courage — and you don’t have to do it alone.

Going to the GYN shouldn’t feel overwhelming or unsafe — but for many survivors of sexual trauma, it often does.
For many survivors of sexual trauma, the thought of going to a gynecologist can bring up intense anxiety, panic, or even physical discomfort — and that’s completely valid.

In this video, Jess discusses what it’s like to face a medical setting after trauma, and how you can take back some control in the process.
You always have the right to ask questions, pause or stop an exam, and seek out a provider who listens and respects your boundaries.

At Keystone PT, we’re passionate about trauma-informed care — where safety, communication, and consent are part of every session. 💙

If you’ve avoided care because of fear or past experiences, please know this: you deserve a provider who helps you feel safe and heard.
