In-Home Caregiver (Male, Spanish Speaking)

ComForCare Home Care is hiring a reliable male caregiver for a family in Chula Vista to assist an adult male with Cerebral Palsy who uses a wheelchair.

Schedule Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays Morning start between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM Roughly 5 to 6 hours per day.

Location Client’s home in Chula Vista

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on respite care, including full physical transfers (bed to wheelchair and vice versa)
- Assist with morning showers
- Drive client to medical appointments in the client’s vehicle and accompany him inside.
- Help out with groceries.
Requirements

- Must speak fluent Spanish (Spanish-only household)
- Male caregiver required based on client care needs and transfer requirements
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, insurance, and comfort driving the client in your vehicle
- Physical ability to perform heavy transfers safely
- Registered CDSS Home Care Aide (or willing to register upon hire)
- Negative TB test within the last 3 months
- $20/hr

So his grandfather figured it out himself, day after day, while continuing to raise a family and manage the responsibilities of everyday life.
