To create a forum for clinicians, basic scientists and bioengineers involved with neuromodulation through a combination of scientific meetings, journal and interactive website
To create a family of affiliated neuromodulation national chapters to encourage growth and influence at national level
To encourage research and development into the conditions treated and the devices and techniques used
To encourage open dialogue with industry partners and health care authorities to improve understanding of these therapies, the needs of patients, service requirements and fair remuneration
To expand the worldwide access to neuromodulation by raising awareness of the both its clinical efficacy and cost effectiveness

Chapter Spotlight series continues!

In this next video, Benelux Neuromodulation Society (BNS) President Prof. Lisa Goudman shares what makes the Chapter unique: uniting Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg around shared research, guidelines, and surveys, while navigating the challenge of working across different national reimbursement systems.

During Prof. Goudman also highlighted the Chapter's two main pillars, collaboration and education, including dedicated M&M (mortality and morbidity) sessions and a culture where every voice β€” from young researchers to senior physicians, engineers to nurses β€” matters.

BNS is proud to be endorsed by the INS, a partnership reflected in the news that the next e-INS meeting will be held in Brussels in 2027.

Make sure your time at the congress is fully reflected in your professional development.

Across the main program, participants were able to earn ECMECs supporting continuous learning in neuromodulation - from engaging with current evidence to integrating insights into clinical decision-making.

The Pre-conference Day on Noninvasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) also offered 6.0 ECMECs, adding further accredited educational value to the program.

Credits obtained at INS 2026 can be recognised internationally, including conversion to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and recognition by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

🌟 Introducing our new Chapter Spotlight series!

We're excited to launch a new short video series highlighting the incredible work, initiatives, and people driving neuromodulation forward across our global chapter network.

In this first video, Canadian Neuromodulation Society (CNS) President Dr. Anuj Bhatia shares how the Chapter is actively supporting clinicians, researchers, trainees through educational initiatives, grants and member resources, as well as collaborative opportunities.

Dr. Bhatia also highlights the importance of international collaboration, including the cross-chapter meeting organized by Prof. Lisa Goudman during , where representatives from the Benelux, Italian, Canadian, and NSUKI societies came together to share ongoing research and strengthen connections across the global community.

Looking ahead, the CNS will host its annual meeting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from 17–19 September 2026, with the Swiss Neuromodulation Society joining as invited guests.
