You deserve to feel at home in your body. genderconfirmation.com Every person is an individual and every transformation is unique. We look forward to meeting you!

Years of work by leaders in the transgender community have led to sensible guidelines to help patients and their doctors make good decisions. Ultimately every decision needs to be personalized to each patient. The best choice of procedure, how and when hormones are appropriate, and which other care providers should be involved in surgery decisions are all areas which are tailored to your situation. Principles of responsibility always prevail, though of course one approach may be right for one Female-to-Male Surgery or Male-to-Female Surgery patient but may not work well for another. We work alongside you and your professional support system to maximize safety and responsibility, ultimately keeping your personal goals in mind at all times. Take a look around and educate yourself and then whenever you’re ready for the next step, please contact us for an in-person or a virtual consult. If you see anything about this gender confirmation surgery website that can be improved please tell us! The world of transgender surgery treatment is ever-evolving, and we strive to remain sensitive and up to date.

This LGBTQ+ History Month, GCC is honoring the trailblazers, icons, and changemakers who’ve shaped our community. 🏳️‍🌈

Today’s spotlight: Rodney Wilson

In 1994, this Missouri history teacher came out to his students during a lesson on the Holocaust, becoming the state’s first openly gay public school teacher. That same year, he founded LGBTQ+ History Month, choosing October to honor National Coming Out Day and the historic marches on Washington.

Today’s spotlight: Peppermint ✨

Peppermint is a New York City–based drag artist, performer, and activist who has been a fixture of the city’s nightlife scene for decades. She captured hearts worldwide as the runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9, where she made history as the first contestant to compete as an openly transgender woman. She went on to make history again on Broadway in Head Over Heels, becoming the first trans woman to originate a principal role there.

Today, Peppermint continues to uplift her local community while fighting for the rights, safety, and visibility of LGBTQ+ people everywhere, especially trans and nonbinary folks.

Thank you, Peppermint, for paving the way and for your continued advocacy for all of us. 💖

During this LGBTQ+ History Month, GCC would like to honor & spotlight trailblazers, icons, and notable members of our community. Our first icon is Dominique Jackson. Dominique is an actress, author & model. She is known for her community service and as a legendary member of the New York City Ballroom scene. Dominique has been unapologetically herself and continues to inspire members in our community to this day.

Happy Bisexual Awareness Week! 💗💜💙

Bisexuality isn’t determined by the gender of your current partner, what your dating history looks like, or how you express your gender. And being trans or nonbinary doesn’t make your bisexual identity any less valid.

However your bisexuality looks, it’s valid. Full stop.
