Beyond the beautiful performance, our residents loved socializing and connecting with the students. We can't wait until they visit us again.

At our 2026 Annual Service and Bravo Awards ceremony, we acknowledged the incredible milestones of team members who have dedicated years (and decades—current record is 40 years!) of their careers to enriching the lives of our older adults, and we applauded the managers who lead with excellence, compassion, and a community-focused mindset. We loved celebrating you!

Our Cinco de Mayo fiesta was in full swing today! Residents enjoyed a lively game of bingo and tried their hand at the piñata, fueled by plenty of chips and salsa. We also set up a colorful photobooth packed with sombreros and goofy mustaches—the perfect way to capture all these memories.

We hosted 200+ volunteers and staff at this past weekend’s citywide emergency preparedness drill in partnership with San Francisco Fire PIO and San Francisco Fire Department Neighborhood Emergency Response Team on the 120th anniversary of the Great 1906 Earthquake and Fire.

This five-hour intensive exercise ensures we’re organized and equipped should disaster strike our campus, while strengthening the broader community by enhancing preparedness, improving coordination, and reinforcing critical safety systems across the Bay Area.

We're pleased to announce an important update for The Campus Academy, a tuition-free, "earn-and-learn" Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program at SFCJL. As we approach the graduation ceremony for our inaugural class next week, we're also getting ready to expand. Initially focused on existing campus employees and their families, the program is now being broadened to reach individuals seeking meaningful entry into healthcare work, removing cost barriers while offering hands-on, real-world training in a senior living environment.
