Residents and community members came together for a valuable workshop led by certified financial planner—and SFCJL board member—Jeffrey Zlot. They learned how essential it is to keep estate plans updated as tax laws shift and families grow and change. Mr. Zlot provided a fresh perspective on legacy planning and shared tips for how to start conversations with adult children that are rooted in shared understanding. A career in healthcare was practically in Nikki Binza’s DNA, as both her mom and brother work as nurses on Campus. Nikki found her own path as an intake coordinator on the Admissions team, where success relies on seamless communication and coordination. Through our partnership with San Francisco based Jewish Community Federation and Diller Teen Fellows, we welcomed 17 teens and their staff visiting from Israel for a special cross-generational visit. The teens participated in our monthly chair dancing session and sat in small groups to chat with residents from all walks of life. Thank you for bringing your youthful energy to Campus!

Happy 4th of July! Our star-spangled celebration kicked off with a patriotic medley of jazz and pop tunes sung by the spectacular Lovin' Harmony Trio. Tiny hats brought major sparkle, and residents and patients loved indulging in red, white, and blue(berry) parfaits.

Rob Sarison is officially handing over his well-worn set of keys and closing the door on this chapter after eight years of rising through the ranks at Frank Residences—from Director of Campus Programs, to Assistant Executive Director, to Executive Director.

Rob was there from day one, watching the walls go up before our vibrant community came to life. He stayed through a pandemic, countless move-in days, and the everyday work of transforming a building into a welcoming home.

At his farewell gathering, Rob was showered with an outpouring of moving words, handmade art, warm hugs, engraved plaques, and keepsakes from leadership, residents, and staff alike. It felt less like a goodbye and more like a celebration of sincere gratitude, spoken aloud.

Here's to Rob's next adventure! May it be filled with new horizons, fewer meetings, impromptu acoustic guitar sessions, and all the passport stamps he can collect. We'll miss you.
