We had the joy of welcoming the Sioux Falls Downtown Rotary a group visiting from Thailand to experience draper sensory therapy and EAL Only one person in the group had ever been on a horse before—and they were all in awe and smiles.
What a fun, fun opportunity! There may have been a language barrier, but nothing could keep us from having fun and experiencing all the sweetness that horses and 605 Roots has to offer.
It was a beautiful reminder of what horses can teach us about relationship. Horses respond to our energy, our presence, and the way we show up. Connection can cross language and cultural differences. It doesn’t depend on religion, politics, or demographics.
At the heart of it, it’s about relationship—and the way we show up horses help us experience connection.
