If you're the one everyone turns to, it can be hard to admit when you need support.

But you deserve support, too.

Therapy is one place where you don’t have to be the strong one.

Remembering everything.
Managing everyone's emotions.
Keeping things running.

Emotional labor is real, and it can be exhausting.

If you're feeling depleted, it might not be because you're doing too little.
It might be because you're doing too much.

You don’t need to have the right words.
You don’t need to be “better” before reaching out.

Connection begins when you're honest about where you are.

That’s what therapy is about; authentic conversations that support your journey to emotional safety.

Not everything has to be rushed.
Not your healing.
Not your growth.
Not your decisions.

In a world that encourages doing more, slowing down can feel uncomfortable.
But often, that's where clarity begins.

A gentle reminder that rest is important, too 🤍

The Talking Pointe will be out of the office for a few days as I take some time to rest, recharge, and be present outside of the therapy room.

Holding space for others is meaningful work, and part of that work is also practicing the boundaries, care, and balance I encourage for my clients.

I’ll respond to messages as soon as I return.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Therapist real talk:
Ignoring the check engine light doesn’t make the problem go away.

And honestly? Humans do this too.

We push through exhaustion.
Dismiss anxiety.
Normalize overwhelm.
Tell ourselves we’re “fine” while our nervous system is trying to get our attention.

That check engine light in your car isn’t there to shame you. It’s there to let you know something needs care.

Therapy can work the same way.
Not because you’re broken.
But because your mind and body deserve support before burnout becomes the only thing speaking loud enough to notice.

Sometimes healing begins by finally paying attention to the warning signs instead of pushing past them.

Sometimes the strongest people are the ones carrying the most.

Holding everyone together.
Managing emotions.
Showing up when you're exhausted.

If that sounds familiar, therapy can help you set some of that weight down.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

May can feel full in a quiet kind of way.
End-of-school stress.
Schedule changes.
Emotional exhaustion building.

If you're feeling overwhelmed right now, you're not alone.
Transitions, even good ones, take emotional energy.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, process, and reconnect with yourself in the middle of it all.

Therapist real talk:
I’m a therapist… and I’m also human.

I have hard days.
I get overwhelmed.
I’m still growing and learning, too.

And honestly? That’s part of what makes therapy meaningful.

At The Talking Pointe, you don’t have to show up polished or put together.
You just have to show up as you are.

Because healing happens in real conversations, not perfect ones.

If you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to perform, therapy might be a good place to start.

You don’t need to become someone new this spring.

You just need to keep showing up for yourself.

That’s where tranquility begins.
That’s where empowerment grows.
That’s where emotional safety lives.
