While only about 10% of the population is left handed, nearly half of our leadership team at RSH proudly fits that description! You learn something new every day. This morning, we celebrated our lefties at the safety huddle, recognizing their unique perspectives and contributions to our team. If you’re a lefty, let us know in the comments!

Amy Manning, our new Quality Director, joined us in July and brought with her a meaningful tradition. As a breast cancer survivor, Amy wears pink every Wednesday as a symbol of awareness, pride, and strength.

What started as a personal gesture has quickly grown into something bigger, with more and more team members joining her each week in support.

Each week, the group gets a little bigger and so does the message: no one faces their journey alone. 💗

As we marked America's 250th birthday, our team also reached an incredible milestone: 94% participation in our very first Voice Survey.

🌟 Meet Dana Clark—Proud Member of Our Laboratory Team!

We’re excited to spotlight Dana Clark, a valued member of our laboratory team, who recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science—all while working full-time!

As a first-generation college graduate, Dana completed her degree summa cm laude from the University of North Dakota. Her remarkable achievement reflects her perseverance and dedication to excellence. Medical Laboratory Scientists like Dana play a vital role in patient care, performing and interpreting complex tests that help diagnose and monitor health conditions.

Thanks to Dana and our entire lab team, patients receive accurate, timely results right here in our community. Since opening, the RSH lab has completed over 50,000 tests, supporting thousands of patients.

Dana’s commitment has been instrumental to this success. “From planning through opening and beyond, Dana’s contributions have helped ensure our community has access to high-quality care,” said Riverside Smithfield Hospital President Jessica Macalino.
