🎉 Grand Opening at Weymouth Glen & The Grove🎉

We had such a wonderful time celebrating the grand opening of Weymouth Glen and The Grove! Guests were invited to take self-guided tours throughout the communities and see firsthand the beautiful new construction we’ve been working so hard to bring to life.

After the tours, everyone gathered for refreshments, complete with mimosas and good conversation. 🥂

We’re so excited to finally show off these new communities and celebrate the incredible amount of hard work, dedication, and progress that has gone into them over the past few years.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next. 🏡✨

Making our mark on something special!

As our dining renovation continues to take shape, our bar top signing gave us a chance to leave a little piece of Penick Village history behind. Signatures, messages, and well wishes now have a permanent place in this exciting new space—hidden beneath the finished bar top for years to come.

We can’t wait to see this space come together and for all the conversations, laughter, and memories that will soon be shared here. Cheers to what’s ahead!

Ladies’ Night Out was one for the books! 💃🍹✨

Our ladies had the BEST time at Santo Pecado Cocina & Cocktails! The evening was filled with lots of laughter, delicious food, refreshing margaritas, and wonderful company. ❤️

But the fun didn’t stop there! On the way home, the Penick Village bus made a very important detour through the Dairy Queen drive-thru for dessert! 🍦 We’re pretty sure they’ve never had an order for that many hot fudge sundaes and Blizzards at once. 😂 And the look on their faces when they saw the Penick bus coming through the drive-thru? PRICELESS!
Great food, great friends, lots of laughs, margaritas, and ice cream, what more could you ask for?

We can’t wait for our next Ladies’ Night Out! 💕🚌🍨

Penick Village proudly sponsored two showings of The Notebook at the Sunrise Theater. Our first complimentary showing was dementia-friendly, which means a welcoming environment with the lights not so low and the sound not too loud for those, who may have cognitive decline, can enjoy. Many thanks go out to our amazing professional partners at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living, Liberty Health and Rehab, HomeChoice Network, Inc. and Peace of Mind Aging Consulting , all provided team members to volunteer at this special event.

Our second showing at 7:00 PM was the perfect night out for many with ALL proceeds going directly to benefit Walk to End Alzheimer's - Moore County. Victoria Huggins, Moore County's Senior Walk Manager, was on hand at both shows to help spread awareness and encourage folks to come out on September 19th at Sandhills Community College to participate in the walk.

Thank you to the Southern Pines Fire Department for spending time with us at Weymouth Glen, Penick Village's newest building!

Our local firefighters toured the building to become familiar with the layout and review evacuation procedures, helping ensure they are well prepared to respond quickly and safely in the event of an emergency. We appreciate their partnership and commitment to keeping our residents and team members safe.

A few weeks ago, the Fire Department also toured The Grove Villas our other new buildings, and this visit to Weymouth Glen came with an extra bonus, ladder checks to ensure access and readiness for our newest building.

We are grateful for the dedication of the Southern Pines Fire Department and the strong partnerships that help make Penick Village a safe place to call home.
