Shoulder pain doesn't always start in your shoulder.
The nerves that supply your shoulder and arm branch out from your cervical spine, specifically around the C5–C6 level. When that nerve root gets compressed or irritated, the pain can radiate straight down into your shoulder often felt right at the AC joint, making it feel like a joint problem when it isn't one.
That's exactly why treating "where it hurts" doesn't always work. If the real source is a compressed nerve in your neck, the shoulder was never the actual problem.
At Core Chiro Rehab, Chiropractic Care means figuring out which one it actually is the joint, the nerve, or both before building your treatment plan.
Dealing with shoulder pain that hasn't responded to treatment? It might be coming from somewhere else.
