What are you building in 2027?

As teams begin planning for the year ahead, we want to remind our network that Animistic’s support extends across the product journey, from the first technical question to market readiness and beyond.

We work with pet brands, livestock and animal nutrition companies, ingredient suppliers, start-ups, and established organizations that need additional expertise behind their next idea, product, or market opportunity.

That can mean developing or refining a formulation. Evaluating ingredients and sourcing options. Reviewing labels, claims, and regulatory requirements. Building a stronger understanding of the market. Creating prototypes or supporting an initial small-batch production run. Or simply adding experienced technical support when your internal team needs another set of hands.

Our role looks different for every client, and that is intentional.

We bring together animal nutrition science, regulatory awareness, product development, market insight, and practical implementation to help teams move good ideas toward meaningful, real-world solutions.

Psalm 19 reminds us that faithfulness is not only found in what we do. It is also found in what we say and what we allow to take root in our hearts.

In agriculture and business, communication carries weight.

A thoughtful word can encourage a producer during a difficult season. A clear recommendation can help a company move forward with confidence. A kind conversation can strengthen a team. A careless comment can do the opposite.

The purpose of the Lord will be established.

In John 15, Jesus reminds us that a branch cannot bear fruit by itself. It must remain connected to the vine.

That image speaks clearly to agriculture, leadership, and life.

Healthy fruit depends on healthy roots. Strong outcomes depend on steady nourishment. Good work depends on more than effort alone.

Whether we are developing nutrition strategies, caring for animals, mentoring a team, building a business, or serving a family, we are not meant to produce fruit in our own strength.

Abiding means staying close to the source.

Meaningful work grows from both discipline and dependence. Science helps us understand the systems around us, but faith reminds us where true fruitfulness begins.

The strongest branches are not the ones striving hardest. They are the ones that remain connected.

May we remember that God does not only meet us in productivity. He also meets us in surrender, renewal, and rest.

Good science rarely comes from a single study, or even a single species.

When we evaluate ingredients for canine digestive health, dog-specific research matters. But it isn’t always the only evidence that can help us understand how an ingredient works.

Research in other monogastric species, including pigs and poultry, can add valuable insight into digestive mechanisms, consistency of response, and biological plausibility. When those findings align with canine research, they can help build a stronger overall evidence picture, and I have more confidence that we’re looking at a real biological effect, not just an isolated result.
