Becca Ferguson 🌶️ Support for neurospicy therapists
🤯 Navigating business decisions in real life

🔗 ↓ Make it Make Sense!

Becca Ferguson is a neurospicy therapist and business coach for therapists and helpers. She developed her solo private practice and later expanded into a group private practice, learning firsthand how little support therapists receive when it comes to running a business. As she built and rebuilt her own practice, Becca saw the same pattern over and over again: smart, capable therapists stuck in su

rvival mode, overwhelmed by decisions no one prepared them for, and carrying guilt for wanting stability, rest, and support in a profession that often expects self-sacrifice. Drawing on her clinical background, her training in communication and media, and her lived experience as an ADHD business owner, Becca made the pivot into business coaching to meet that gap. Her work focuses on helping neurodivergent therapists and helpers slow the spin just enough to understand what they actually need, make values-based decisions, and build businesses that work with their brain instead of against it. Through coaching, workshops, and practical tools, Becca supports therapists who are tired of urgency-driven advice and ready to build something sustainable without losing themselves in the process.

If you know, you know 🤣 I grew up in this type of family. I let the intrusive thoughts win today and made a reel about it!

This is PSA for all the families with therapists: we’re tired. We just wanna chill and either talk or stand against a wall and nod. If we make a comment, assume we put our foot in our mouth and ask us how we’re doing! We don’t have any brain cells left 🤯

My word of the year was “simplify.” Now that I think about it, I accidentally gave myself a task instead of a word, which feels deeply annoying in hindsight 😅

But really, I’ve been trying to cut things back and figure out what in my life feels so damn difficult all the time. And the truthful answer?

“Simple” doesn’t seem to exist when life is full of trauma, chaos, and people (…systems… 👀) that don’t take responsibility for their actions.

As therapists, we sit across from clients hearing: “But it’s not fair.”

And half the time we want to scream the exact same sentence directly into the void ourselves.

But instead, we take a deep breath and say: “I know.” with sincerity and empathy while also trying to manage…
📆 Scheduling
📄 Paperwork
🧠 Documentation
💸 Billing
📱 Reminders
📋 Insurance verification
📨 Referrals
😵‍💫 And approximately 57 invisible mental tabs at once

Like… can I please just sit on my couch and doom scroll on mute with the captions for five business minutes? PLEASE?!

So let me circle back to this word: “Simplify.”

What if I could help take one thing off your plate that also supports your bottom line?

When I started private practice, I signed up for SimplePractice, and over the last 4 years it’s evolved with me and my business. As I started coaching other therapists, I became a partner with them because I wanted to make sure I could offer the best discounts available when they ran promotions.

And right now they’re having their biggest sale of the year 🎉
Over the next two days, you can get up to 70% off for a year + a 7-day free trial. The promotion ends May 19, so I wanted to make sure therapists actually knew about it while the pricing is still active.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a Simple Practice account, now is the time to lock in the best price!

Y’all, I just have to brag on one of my therapist besties 🪩 I never knew that a random DM would create such a beautiful friendship! I am AMAZED by all of the hard work she is doing!! If you need help with marketing, this is your one stop shop ✨✨

…cool, so we’re just pretending every therapist:
✔️ has the same brain
✔️ has the same capacity
✔️ has the same access to time, money, and support

Got it.

Because clearly we’re all out here functioning at peak performance with zero burnout, zero trauma, and zero life outside of our caseload 🙃

Let’s be real for a second.

Starting a private practice is hard as hell.
And one software platform is NOT a business plan.

You don’t just need a place to put notes.
You need:
🔥 actual structure that works with your brain
🔥 support that isn’t condescending or gatekeep-y
🔥 context for what the hell you’re even building
🔥 space to rest without everything falling apart

Because the system wasn’t built for most of us.
So yeah… sometimes it does make you want to burn it down and start over.

If you’re done trying to force yourself into systems that don’t work… I’ve got tools that actually meet you where you are 💁🏼‍♀️

I told myself I would never post a video of me crying on the internet, but I decided that this one meant something different.

There’s a huge difference between 2006 Becca and 2007 Becca. 2006 was innocence. I was seeking love and approval, but hadn’t found it. When 2007 Becca thought she found it in manipulation, abuse, and organized religion, she fell hard and was devoted.

When I think of my personality now and my personality as a child, the difference is this: I’m now allowed to make my own decisions. I’m now allowed to speak my truth about toxic personalities and places without seeking approval from others. I don’t have to depend on someone to believe me or teach me in order to keep me safe.

Hannah Montana was a part of that safety and consistency for me. I relate to trials and feeling like I had to be two personalities.

To know that it’s been 20 years is ROUGH. Survival mode hits hard and urgency sometimes combines with time blindness. When I bring up these memories with toxic people from my past, they shame me and tell me I’m being a perpetual victim.

Tonight, I choose to reframe. I choose pride. I choose 2006 Becca. It’s okay to show her the love she deserves, not the version of “love” she was taught.

Thank you for 20 years! And all the emotions!

I loved Hannah Montana back in the day. The idea of a “Double-Life” was something that I wanted to escape to more than anything!

As a therapist and a business owner, it used to feel like I constantly had to switch wigs 🤣 Until I took a deeper look at my values. Why did I feel like I couldn’t be my authentic self as a business owner? Why were networking meetings full of… starch?!

When we align ourselves with our values, we get to show up the way we truly are! We get to be our real Miley! ✨

ART sessions can shift everything for a client… and sometimes the hardest part is the space between sessions. Clients need guidance. Therapists need rest. Nobody wins if we’re all overloaded.

The ART Mini Bundle gives you the structure you’ve been missing. A clean, warm intake form to screen clients with clarity. A workbook that guides reflection, grounding, and post-session integration so you don’t have to be “on call” all weekend.

It’s supportive, customizable, and built for the real world.
Grab it through the link in my bio.
