Yellow Rock Behavioral Health is a psychiatric residential treatment center that is specifically designed for children and adolescents ages 12-17 who are having difficulties with problematic sexual behaviors that are complicated by mental illness. Our residential program treats both issues simultaneously through a multidisciplinary treatment approach to better ensure for a successful recovery. Thr

ough our program we help our patients learn to take responsibility for both their problematic sexual behaviors and any other behavioral problems they may have. Today, we were grateful to welcome Burton’s Creamery as they provided a special summer treat for our residents, staff, and group home team to enjoy together. Opportunities like these help create joy, build relationships, and remind us that healing and growth can also be found in life’s simple moments.

This week at RVGH, our boys rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in the kitchen making homemade pasta! 🍝

We're incredibly proud of the hard work, teamwork, and effort our residents put into learning a new skill from start to finish. Activities like these provide opportunities to build confidence, practice patience, and enjoy the rewards of their hard work.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff for continually creating fun, engaging, and meaningful summer activities that keep our residents learning and growing. It's experiences like these that make summer at RVGH so memorable!

Last week, we held our monthly Town Hall meeting where we had the opportunity to share important updates, celebrate accomplishments, and recognize the incredible work of our team!

Congratulations to our Safe Catch drawing winner, who took home a relaxing neck massager! We also proudly recognized our three April Rockstar winners, who each received a $50 gift card for their outstanding dedication and hard work. 🌟
