Trick-or-Treating starts before Halloween night! 🎃

Remembering to set clear expectations ahead of time can help make Halloween a fun and positive experience for your loved one and your entire family. Pro tip: Remember to also let your child know how independent (i.e., away from you) they can be! Halloween doesn't look the same for everyone, however it's important to meet your child where they are. Preparing ahead of time is the best way to give them the best experience.

Our hearts are with the Bend community following the heartbreaking tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary.

In times like these, our loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) may need extra support processing difficult news and big emotions.

See the tips on how to talk about tragedies with compassion, communicate clearly, recognize signs of distress, and provide reassurance and support.

We are sending love and support to the students, families, educators, first responders, and everyone in our Central Oregon community affected by this tragedy.

Team PBS wants to recognize the hard work of our MA Regions!

We recently met with a large Medicaid Managed Care Health Plan in the state to discuss clinical metrics and utilization. The health plan measures 5 Data Metrics and PBS received a PERFECT score!

Our MA team is currently providing ABA Services to 107 families under this single Health Plan.

We continue to meet all benchmarks.We continue to meet and exceed Parent Training benchmark. The health plan had to lower their benchmark due to ABA network performance in this metric. We exceeded the benchmark by over 20 percent.We continue to meet and exceed Supervision benchmark. We exceeded the benchmark by almost 10 percent. Continuity of Care – we continue to meet and exceed provider switch rate at only 5 percent.Access to Care latency – we continue to meet and exceed completion and start of services requirement.

The above metrics demonstrate our continued commitment and proof of PBS delivering the highest quality ABA services to the families we serve.

BCBAs at Team PBS!

According to the BACB, The Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. BCBAs may supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts® (BCaBAs®), Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®), and other professionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions.

Team PBS was built by Behavior Analysts, for Behavior Analysts. At PBS, we appreciate the dedication that our BCBAs have to make positive impacts in the quality of life for those we serve.
