Hip and core weakness can affect everything from your balance and posture to back, hip, and knee pain. It can even make simple daily activities like getting out of a chair more difficult.

That’s why the bridge is one of our favorite foundational exercises for improving strength and stability as we age. 💪

This month’s exercise is the bridge, and we’re highlighting a few different variations to help you build hip and core strength safely while finding the option that feels best for your body.

Consistency matters more than perfection. Small improvements in strength can make a big difference in how confidently you move every day.

Watch the full video linked in the comments to learn how to perform each variation safely and correctly. 🎥

One of the biggest mistakes people make with weighted vest training? Progressing too fast. ⚠️

In this video, Dr. Beth shares a personal story about jumping too quickly to a heavier weighted vest while training for a hiking trip — and the painful setback that followed.

More weight is not always better. Building strength safely takes patience, consistency, and the right progression for your body. What works for someone else may not be the right fit for you.

Weighted vests can be an incredible tool for improving strength, posture, endurance, and bone health, but only when used properly. The goal isn’t to push your body past its limits. The goal is to stay strong, active, and independent for the long run.

Chronic pain doesn’t have to mean injections, medications, or surgery.

Shockwave Therapy is helping people heal stubborn pain by stimulating the body’s natural repair process at the source. From arthritis and tendon pain to plantar fasciitis and old injuries, this regenerative treatment helps improve circulation, reduce pain, and support long-term healing without downtime.

In this video, Dr. Beth explains how Shockwave Therapy works, what conditions it can help treat, and why combining it with EMTT and Physical Therapy can help people move better and stay active as they age.

Watch the full video linked in the comments to learn if Shockwave Therapy could be right for you.

Do you have pain on the outside of your hip that makes it difficult to walk, climb stairs, get comfortable in bed, or enjoy your daily activities?

Many people are told they have bursitis or arthritis, but the real cause may be something called gluteal tendinopathy—a condition that affects the tendons connecting your butt muscles to your hip.

On Studio STL, Dr. Beth discussed why this condition is so common, especially in adults over 50, and how regenerative therapies like EMTT and Shockwave Therapy can help stimulate healing at the source of the problem.

The good news? Hip pain is not something you simply have to live with.

If you’ve been dealing with chronic pain, arthritis, tendon irritation, or stiffness that just won’t go away, it can feel like you’ve tried everything—rest doesn’t last, medications only mask symptoms, injections wear off, and surgery feels like a big step.

That’s why many people are turning to EMTT, a non-invasive, drug-free regenerative therapy designed to support healing at the cellular level.

EMTT uses high-energy magnetic pulses to help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and stimulate the body’s natural repair process—without pain, needles, or downtime. Many people with arthritis, back pain, and tendon issues notice improved movement and less stiffness as treatment progresses.

At HouseFit, we offer free consultations to help you explore whether EMTT is right for you and your goals.

Back pain becomes more common as we age, but that doesn’t mean you have to simply live with it. Many traditional treatments like pain pills, injections, and even surgery often focus on masking symptoms instead of supporting true healing.

Join us for our upcoming educational seminar to learn how regenerative therapy is helping aging adults reduce pain, improve movement, and support the body’s natural healing process. 💙

During this seminar, you’ll learn:
How aging contributes to common back problems, why traditional treatments don’t always work long term, how regenerative therapy is changing the future of back pain treatment, and what a typical treatment plan looks like.

What if something as simple as a weighted vest could help you stay stronger, improve your balance, and protect your bones as you age?

Weighted vests aren’t just for athletes. When used correctly, they can help adults build strength, preserve bone density, improve endurance, and stay independent longer.

In this video, Dr. Beth explains:
✔️ How weighted vests work
✔️ Why they can support healthy aging
✔️ The benefits for strength, balance, and bone health
✔️ The common mistake that can actually set you back

Aging well isn’t about “slowing down.” It’s about staying strong enough to keep doing the things you love. ❤️
