Happy feast day to the patron saint of our city and ministry!

More than 750 years after his death, St. Louis is remembered not simply as a king, but as a man who sought to put his Catholic faith into action. His kingship was not defined by jewels and revelry, but by service; he viewed his leadership as an opportunity to serve.

At Catholic Charities ministry Saint Louis Counseling, we seek to continue his legacy by recognizing the dignity of every single person and put our faith into action by serving those in need with a compassionate, caring presence.

St. Louis, King of France, pray for us, our city, our Archdiocese, and all who call St. Louis home! ⚜️

As we get ready for a new school year to start, Catholic Charities ministry Saint Louis Counseling had a recent training for their school and other counselors.

With talks ranging from mental health to small group breakouts to learning about Saint Louis Counseling's work with other Catholic Charities ministries, we are excited for our counselors to start another year working alongside students and those needing help.

Even though the topics of these trainings are considerably heavy, the joy and passion of these counselors as we talked about the why behind their work was unmistakable!

Good luck to everyone starting school this month, and Saint Louis Counseling is always here for you and your children when you need.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy and pray for our nation and our fellow Americans.

We also remember the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title of the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States.

May Our Lady continue to pray for our country and inspire us to love our neighbors, serve those in need, and root our communities in dignity, compassion, and hope.

From all of us at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, we wish you a safe and joyful Fourth of July.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us.
