Rabies is preventable, but once symptoms appear, it is almost always fatal. 🐾🤍

Protect the ones you love by keeping pets vaccinated and taking any possible exposure seriously. A simple vaccine can save a life.

Spread awareness. Vaccinate. Protect. 🐶🐱

Teddy’s story is one pet parents should know.

On July 20, Teddy accidentally ingested a migraine relief cold therapy gel cap. Within just 8 hours, he developed tremors and seizures and needed emergency hospitalization.

Teddy stayed with us for 3 days and required an incredible 22 doses of anti-seizure medication—the most any of our doctors can remember giving to a single patient.

Our team worked closely with the toxicologists at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center throughout his treatment.

We’re incredibly happy to share that Teddy has fully recovered and is back home with his family. ❤️🐾

His story is also an important reminder: everyday household and personal-care products can be dangerous to pets. If you suspect your pet has ingested something potentially toxic, seek veterinary guidance immediately.
