I'm sitting here today at work thinking of our staff, I just felt like I needed to say something. When you own a business, it's easy to get caught up in the schedules, phone calls, payroll, paperwork problems to solve and everything that needs done for tomorrow. But sometimes you need to stop and think about the people... We have some really incredible people. Our staff walks into the homes of people who need us and become part of their lives. They hold hands, they listen to stories, they prepare meals and on the hard days they do their best to bring comfort. Sometimes, they are simply the familiar face that makes someone feel safe. There are days when things don't go perfectly....calloffs, changes, long days, and moments where everyone is stretched a little thin. Through it all, I continue to see people step up.
I see kindness
I see compassion
I see teamwork
I see people doing things that never get recognized publicly but matter tremendously to someone.
