Through the cultivation of present moment awareness through yoga and mindfulness practices, we discover and nurture our inner resources for self-care, ease, peace of mind, and compassion. Through integrity and healthy business practices, we create a safe foundation for all of us to learn, grow, teach, and lead from our heart.

Postnatal Yoga 6 Week Series starts Monday, Nov 2nd and Friday, Nov 6th. From 11Am-12:30PM.

Join us for a 6-week journey into yoga-after-baby. For birthing parent and infants (up to active crawling), our Postnatal Yoga Series is an invitation to connect with yourself and your baby as you navigate these first few months together. Awareness of breath, gentle movements, pelvic floor and core strengthening, and shoulder openings are integral in each class.

Postnatal Yoga is definitely a unique class, following its own special rhythm with the babies’ needs; feeding, changing diapers and crying is all expected and inevitable! More than a physical exercise, this is a time to move your body, engage with your little one, and enjoy the community of others in a new way.

A special time set aside for you to bond with your baby in a welcoming, fun environment.
Come as you are. Never competitive; always enlightening.

Preregistration is required. Please note that due to full classes and a waiting list we do not allow drop-ins or guests

Ages: Newborns to crawlers

Cost: $120, Space is limited.

The Art of Receiving: A Fall Sound Journey with Andrea Steele

This evening is an invitation to put down, even for a little while, all the things you’ve been carrying. To let yourself receive and be held through the healing frequencies and vibrations of sound.

Andrea will open with some gentle somatic movement to help you arrive in your body and give your nervous system a chance to settle. From there, she’ll guide you into a supported restorative shape where you can get comfortable, soften, and let yourself receive.

Then you’ll journey through sound with crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and other sound instruments to create a space for deep rest.

Afterward, we’ll share some warm tea, slowly come back into the room, and ease into the rest of the evening together. There will be an opportunity to share your experience in community if you choose but it’s not a requirement.

WTF: A Perimenopause Workshop with Dr. Mandi Murtaugh is Tuesday, November 17th from 7-9pm.

In Chinese Medicine, Menopause is referred to as a Second Spring–a time of wisdom and renewal. Yet in our culture, it seems to be a mysterious season of night sweats, vaginal dryness, and rage. Our society and even the medical system don’t know what to do with and for us, leaving half the population confused and sleepless for a decade.

How do we move toward the vitality and empowerment that comes with the wisdom of age?

Join Dr. Mandi Murtaugh, a Pelvic/Women’s Health Physical Therapist for this 2-hour workshop where we’ll take a ride through the ups and downs of this season in life. You will learn about common symptoms that come with shifting hormones, particularly as it relates to sexual, bladder and bone health, and what to do about them. We will also move through exercises to harness the power that is available to us in this shift.

Registration is now open, limited spots available. Link in bio to reserve your spot.

Cost: $50

“Yoga is not a work-out, it is a work-in. And this is the point of spiritual practice; to make us teachable; to open up our hearts and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.” -Rolf Gates

Maybe our practice isn’t about improving ourselves, but about gently setting down what gets in the way: the distractions, the self-judgment, the habit of striving.

Let the practice be less about doing and more about listening. Where can you soften your edges? What if we’re not trying to become someone new, but, as Rolf Gates reminds us, remembering who we already are?

Poem from Erin’s Thanksgiving class this morning:

Thank You
BY ROSS GAY
If you find yourself half naked
and barefoot in the frosty grass, hearing,
again, the earth's great, sonorous moan that says
you are the air of the now and gone, that says
all you love will turn to dust,
and will meet you there, do not
raise your fist. Do not raise
your small voice against it. And do not
take cover. Instead, curl your toes
into the grass, watch the cloud
ascending from your lips. Walk
through the garden's dormant splendor.
Say only, thank you.
Thank you.

A joyous Happy Birthday to Source teacher Rosie Townsend! If you have not experienced meeting Rosie in person, please do so!! She is truly the embodiment of sunlight as it shines down on this great green earth to kindly and encouragingly whisper, "grow! breathe! live!". Rosie seems to live life with unabashed joy, honesty, and ease. Her Thursday Gentle Yoga classes are a mid-week, mini-retreat for ALL who are fortunate to be in her care. Thank you, Rosie, for shining your bright light with us all! May your day be filled with both inner and outer sunshine. Happy Birthday!
