There are so many intrinsic lifestyle factors; that I simply did not know about over 15 years ago. Pelvic Health can have the highest impact on mental and emotional wellbeing. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is absolutely incredible for circulation, blood flow to pelvis and hormone balancing.

✨Let’s talk about the different types of prolapses: there is an array of various conditions and causes. Most known common cause is pregnancy, delivery and postpartum recovery.

1. Cystocele - Bladder Prolapse
This is the most common prolapse and occurs when your bladder shifts downward into the anterior aspect of the va**na. Bladder prolapse often leads to problems with urinary urgency, leakage or incontinence.

2. Rectocele - Re**um or Large Bowel Prolapse with a rectocele, the re**um pushes into the posterior aspect of the va**na. This often leads to constipation, leakage and bloating.

3. Uterine Prolapse - Occurs when your uterus migrates into the va**nal canal and sometimes even protrudes outside it.

Other prolapses include Enterocele or Small Intestine Prolapse, Urethrocele or Urethral Prolapse, and Vaginal Vault Prolapse.

I truly wish I knew after 4 very big babies how important pelvic health is. As busy mom, wife, business owner, I have had quite a pelvic floor journey. With all my heart I know now that it takes a village to support mother's.

While I was pregnant I always took my supplements, self care routines, acupuncture and always sought allied professionals.

Yet Postpartum was a complicated mess where it was often baby comes first.
Breast feeding, pumping, childcare, diapers, sleep all the physical and emotional demands of having an infant.
often I simply forgot about self care...

If you resonate with this post just know you are not alone. There is a team of professionals solid referrals to support your bodies resilience. I highly recommend seeking - Pelvic Floor PT!

Carving out time in our busy lives for wellness self care is more important then ever. Being a mother is a full time job and you deserve the very best support; quality care and TLC.
