Introducing our new Studio Manager, Anne Rayhawk!

Anne first applied to work at the front desk in July of 2024 and was excited to get to be a part of the dance world again after several years away. She learned to dance at Oregon State University, where she took every dance class, practice, and social she could fit in her schedule. Her favorite styles are Swing and Ballroom, but she’s also danced a fair amount of Country and a little Latin, so don’t be afraid to ask her to dance if you see her on the floor! Anne soon joined SGD’s private events decorating team, drawing on her experience with a production company that did events up and down the West Coast. As she steps into the role of Studio Manager, her 13 years managing summer camps will come into play – but at least at SGD & DDS she won’t have to ‘manage’ rattlesnakes or bears! You will still see her at front desk and decorating for private events, but her primary focus is now creating and maintaining a welcoming, organized, and fun environment for all our members and guests.
