Today we’re celebrating Ace and his first year with our team! Over the past year, Ace has made a positive impact on both his patients and coworkers through his dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others reach their goals.

Did you know the majority of on the job injuries for firefighters happen off site from fires, and are categorized as musculoskeletal sprains and strains?!

We had the privilege of meeting the amazing team at educating them on their risk of job specific injuries, how to prevent these through proper lifting, pushing, and pulling, as well as performed department wide screenings for three important movement patterns:

↗️Hip hinge with toe touch
↗️Sidelying thoracic (mid) spine rotation
↗️Functional Shoulder External (Overhead) and Internal (Behind back) Rotation

We real life simulations, worked with their equipment, and lead a dynamic strengthening and mobility class. AND we had so much fun!!!

⭐️Wow!! We were blown away with the applications for our 90-Day Transformation Scholarship to Focusmaster Fitness in Troy!

Over 70 of our past and current patients applied, making this decision entirely difficult to select just one winner, so thank you to everyone who stepped out of their comfort zone to do so. Huge congratulations to Sarah C. our first winner!! (You read that right! We would love to do this again in the future, so keep a look out for when we run this back!)
