Work 1:1 with a student in a Seattle school, collaborating with educators and receiving direct supervision and mentorship from a BCBA. This role is ideal for an experienced BT who enjoys supporting students with challenging behavior and helping them build skills, independence, and greater access to inclusive environments.

Northwest ABA is currently accepting new clients for morning and afternoon daytime sessions at our Tukwila and Tacoma locations.

We also have openings in our Day Treatment program for Medicaid clients. This structured, clinic-based program supports children in building communication, social, play, independence, and daily living skills through individualized, developmentally appropriate care.

🎯🪓 Nothing brings a team together quite like trying something new!

Our Northwest ABA team recently got together for a social filled with axe throwing, delicious food, and plenty of laughs. It was a great opportunity to step away from the clinic, connect with one another, and celebrate the amazing people who make NWABA such a special place.

✨ Why did you choose to work as a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)?
"I chose to work as a Certified Behavior Technician because I enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in their lives. I love supporting children as they develop effective communication, build new skills, and become more independent. It is rewarding to know that my work can have a lasting impact on both the children and their families."

💙 What do you like most about your work?
"What I enjoy most is building strong bonds with the children and celebrating their progress. Watching them learn new skills, gain confidence, and reach milestones is incredibly rewarding. Every day brings opportunities to encourage growth, support communication, and create positive experiences that help them succeed."

💪 What are some challenges you face as a CBT?
"One of the biggest challenges is that the job requires a lot of energy, patience, and flexibility. Every child is different, and plans or routines can change quickly, so it is important to adapt while continuing to provide consistent support. Even with these challenges, seeing the children's growth and progress makes the work meaningful and worthwhile."

🦷 Community Resource Spotlight: Renton Kids Dentistry 💙

Finding healthcare providers who understand how to make children feel comfortable can make a world of difference.

If dental visits have been challenging for your child, Renton Kids Dentistry is a local pediatric dental office focused on creating a fun, welcoming environment where children can feel safe and supported. Their team works with kids of all ages and strives to help make dental appointments a positive experience.
