Join us in congratulating Jeffrey Youngblood on his promotion from Wellness Director to Executive Director of The Blake at Tyler!

Jeffrey was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. His healthcare career began as a CNA prior to graduating from Tyler Junior College with his LVN and RN credentials. He has a bachelor's degree in healthcare management and earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler. Jeffrey has been in a leadership role for the last 10 years, mostly in hospice and palliative medicine. When not at work, you can find Jeffrey spending time with his wife of 18 years and his two beautiful children.

All month long we've been celebrating 250 Years of America! ❤️🤍💙

What an unforgettable month we've had at The Blake! We celebrated America’s 250th birthday with so many wonderful moments, including our festive July Birthday Social, a patriotic 4th of July Parade, beautiful handmade patriotic jewelry, and a refreshing Watermelon Social enjoyed by all.

One of the most meaningful highlights of the month was our Voices of Freedom program, where veterans shared their stories, memories, and reflections on serving our country. Their courage and sacrifice remind us that the freedoms we enjoy today came at a great cost, and we are truly grateful.

A heartfelt thank you to Camp V, BrightStar Care, and Heart to Heart Hospice for partnering with us and helping make these celebrations so special for our residents. Your support and dedication mean so much to our community.

Here’s to 250 years of freedom, faith, courage, and the enduring American spirit! ✨🫡
