Starting off with Strawberry Milkshakes on Monday for our residents🍓🥤😋, next we had the band- Been There, Done That perform for our residents on Tuesday!🎤🎸🎹🎶 This band is a favorite of our residents! ❤️On Friday, we celebrated our Grandparents with a gift,🎁 and a piece of pie🍰, pictures 📸and laughter😃! Fun was had by all! 🍓🍫🍰😋

Started off this past week as usual with Chair stretches, and couldn't help but to ask for a picture of this beautiful resident couple, when they exercised together they touched hands. I only hope I can have a love that tender, kind, and lasting! 💕 Friday was full of fun, our craft was Woodburning, a first for both residents and myself! We all decided we would do it again in the future! Also, today was Ronnie's last work day (hopefully just for now) with us at StoryPoint Timberline, so our Wellness Director Bobbie gave her a cake, and her wish was to have a water gun fight! So of course we made that happen! Even a few residents joined in with the employees water fun!! 🎂😃💧 🌞

Storypoint Timberline residents started the week with Watergun fight fun! Even Deanna, Kelly and our boss Geoff got in on the fun!💧Thursday, our outing to Glazed Expressions had us flex our artistic muscles! 🎨💪 You paint a ceramic piece you pick, they glaze it and in a week you get your glazed item! We can't wait to see our finished ornaments next week! Yesterday, we went to Denny's Restaurant. Most of us got burgers 🍔, fries 🍟. One of us got a breakfast plate. We all had good food, 😋and had even better company, laughs and a good time out!😃

Bingo is played and enjoyed by our residents multiple times weekly at Timberline. Milkshakes are good any day of the week as evident by the smile on our residents faces! 🥤😋😃

Thursday August 13th we decided to give our residents the opportunity to "pie" us in the face! Let's just say there were lots of laughing, also alittle bit of a sticky mess to clean. However it was all worth it to see how much fun our residents had!That brings us to today, Friday, not only did we have fair style games, we got balloon creations🎈🐶🐱🐒🐰🦒🦄 from Professor Von Air! Happy Hour topped off the afternoon with popcorn🍿, snowcones🍧, small pastries, similar to elephant ears, fruit, alcoholic beverages, 🍷🍺sodas 🥤and music! 🎶 I'd say fun was had throughout the week during our Fair themed week

Wednesday Fox Therapy hosted a Baby Shower for our PT Erin! 👣🧸🎀💖 Fox Therapy provided cupcakes, and juice, and game, and Life Enrichment provided the decorations! The residents and employees from Storypoint Timberline, as well as employees from Fox Therapy came together, to show their care and love for Erin by giving her cards, gifts, and many well wishes for her, and her little unborn baby girl! 💝

For our Fair themed week, we started out at Storypoint Timberline on Monday, Aug. 10th with Caricatures by Steph, and had sweet treats to eat.🍧 Stephanie made awesome drawings that made our residents smile. 🖼😊Then Tuesday, Aug. 11th, we had Magician Jonathan May perform for the residents and employees alike, and our residents became part of the show! 🎩 🪄 🃏

At Storypoint Timberline we danced 💃 to exercises on Thursday morning. We also learned more about Dementia, Caregiving and Compassion from our presenter Author Terri Leedom who gave us things to think about, shared experiences in a thoughtful and humorous way, and left us all grateful she came to speak at Timberline. 😊🤔📚And last, not least was our Manicures on Monday, where 2 lovely ladies that reside at Timberline got a nice manicure, and pretty polish to start the week off right! 💅 Our residents mean so much to us!
