A whimsy little tea party is happening this Sunday at 3pm at Ema’s Herbs 🍵✨Guided by Fatima and Katie we’ll create a delicious herbal syrup, whisk up some matcha, add your milk of choice, and enjoy a hand-crafted latte together!💚(We will also have lemonade to make a delicious mocktail if you prefer.)

Fennel is our Herb of the Month for September🌿Used dry or fresh, the possibilities for Fennel are endless! In a salad, you can thinly chop in a bulb of fennel or soften in some oil over heat. Dry fennel can be used as a seasoning to cook with, in teas, or chewing a couple to freshen breath💚✨ Stop by the shop to refill on Fennel! 👋

Ayurvedic Detox Tea for Daytime by Marlene’s Sound Outlook~makes one day of tea, about 5 cups
1 Tbsp whole coriander seed
1 Tbsp whole cumin seed
1 Tbsp whole fennel seed
1 Tbsp cinnamon chips
¼ Cup loose leaf green tea or Tulsi tea

Place in a jar and shake to mix. Use 1 level Tbsp of mix and 5 cups of water in medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 more minutes. Strain tea into thermos (or refrigerate) and sip throughout the day.
