Meet Adonica 🤍
You’ll see Adonica hosting Recovery Hours at Rise on Thursday evenings, and we wanted you to get to know one of the newest faces on our Rise team a little better!
✨Tell us a little about yourself.
Wife, mother of three, grandmother to one, believer that kindness goes a long way. Title teacher in Wahpeton. I’m on year 22 (I think!) 😊
✨What are you most excited about with joining the Rise team?
I am most excited to join the Rise team because it is a business and practice I believe in. The older I get, the more I realize the importance of taking care of your body, and yoga and Pilates improve your health mentally, spiritually, and physically. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to assist with a business that promotes such a positive practice!
✨What’s one of your favorite ways to relax, recharge, or take care of yourself?
One of my favorite ways to relax, recharge, or take care of myself is to sit down with a good book or a crochet project. I also love good laughs and a good movie or TV show.
✨What do you hope people feel when they come in for a recovery session?
I hope they feel like they are taking some time to do something good for themselves. The mental piece of knowing you are caring for yourself, in my opinion, helps the recovery process. The body is in tune to your thoughts. Let the science do the work while you take a quiet moment for yourself.
✨And just for fun - coffee or tea?
I’m turning into more of a tea gal every day! ☕️
We’re so happy to have Adonica joining the Rise team. 🤍 Be sure to say hi when you see her on Thursday evenings!
