sokidssoar volunteer spotlight | throwing it back to last Saturday and our instructor Stephanie 🛶

“It’s been a total pleasure volunteering with SKS over the past year and a half. I’ve helped out at activities including dessert-making, hockey skating and water sports, and it’s been a real joy to see the kids have so much fun with every activity. Something that really stands out for me is that [So Kids SOAR] kids get a chance to build confidence and realize they can succeed with something that maybe they haven’t tried before. By the end of the day they’re confident and smiling, and you’d never know they were nervous when they started. SKS has such a great community of kids, parents, staff and volunteers, it’s been a lot of fun and I have had a blast teaching participants kayaking for the past two
water sports clinics!”

Piloting our in-studio intensive for our new sokidssoar curriculum with our two all-star storytelling graduates - Michael and Clay 🎙️ Today, the two were students but next year they will be instructors—we can’t wait to roll out this new extension curriculum next January thanks to the support and investment of Aspen Spark ⚡️ Thank you to our instructor Justin for taking these two under his wing! 🪽
