Mommy Makeover Transformation | 3 Months Post-Op

This patient, a mom of two in her early 40s, wanted to address changes to her breasts and abdomen following pregnancy, breastfeeding, and weight loss.

For her Mommy Makeover, Dr. Arsalan performed:

A 2-month check-in, straight from the patient. 👀

This patient came to Dr. Nye looking for ways to refresh the lower eye area. He is now 2 Months Post-Op from a lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer to the under-eye area.

In this follow-up, he shares what the experience and recovery were like from his perspective, including how quickly he was able to return to work.

His procedure was performed through an internal approach, meaning there are no external incisions to see beneath the eyes.

Having filler does not automatically mean you cannot have a facelift. 👀

On this episode of Face the Facts, Dr. Wang explains what actually matters when a patient has a history of facial filler before surgery.

💉 Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are commonly used throughout the face and, in most cases, can be worked around during a facelift. What is important is knowing what was injected, where it was placed, and approximately when it was done.

🧬 Biostimulatory or longer-lasting/permanent fillers can affect the tissues differently, which makes that treatment history especially important for your surgeon to know when planning surgery.

Previous filler can also influence swelling and recovery, even when it does not prevent someone from having a facelift.

The takeaway: keep track of what you have had injected and make sure your surgeon knows before surgery. 📝
