A great day of learning in California earlier this week at the AAARC workshop! 🚑 Attendees dove into the revenue cycle, gaining practical strategies to strengthen reimbursement, compliance, and operations. We loved seeing everyone come together to learn, connect, and share ideas!

AAA is proud to support the bipartisan Emergency Responders Mental Health Training Act, introduced by Rep. Derek Tran with Reps. John Rutherford, Don Davis, and Mike Lawler.

This legislation would help expand access to behavioral health professionals trained to understand the unique mental health needs of paramedics, EMTs, and other first responders.

Thank you to these congressional leaders for recognizing the importance of supporting those who serve our communities every day.

Earlier this year, I heard directly from local law enforcement and first responders about the support they need to access mental health care. Our first responders deserve mental health care that is tailored to the high-stakes and high-stress situations they face every day. That’s why I am proud to introduce the bipartisan EMT Act to deliver the specialized mental health care our first responders deserve.
