Friday Faces | Meet Ernesa, Unit Manager, RN!
Ernesa brings a diverse nursing background and a strong passion for resident-centered care to her role as Unit Manager at Harmony Waterloo. She began her nursing career in long-term care, where she spent five years caring for residents and building meaningful relationships with their families. She has also gained valuable experience in hospital and occupational health settings, giving her a well-rounded perspective on nursing, teamwork, and leadership.
For Ernesa, compassion is at the heart of great care. She believes every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, while families deserve to feel heard, supported, and confident in the care their loved ones receive.
As a leader, Ernesa is equally passionate about creating a positive environment for her team. She believes that when coworkers communicate openly, respect and support one another, and feel valued in their work, they are better equipped to provide exceptional care to residents.
Outside of work, Ernesa enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her family. She is excited to continue getting to know the residents, families, and staff at Harmony Waterloo and looks forward to contributing to a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
