We have so many emotions as Ron gets ready to retire. We’re definitely going to miss having him around, but we’re also so so happy and excited for this new chapter in his life!

Ron, thank you for being a part of our team and for all the time you’ve spent with us. We hope retirement brings you everything you’ve ever wanted. We hope you get to do all the things you love, spend time with the people you love, and make so many new memories along the way. You’ll always be a special part of our Elite family, and there will always be a place here for you whenever you want to stop by!

We had the cutest little patient visit us in Norwalk, and we just couldn’t resist sharing this sweet face!

Did you know that we participate in a wonderful program called InfantSEE? This program provides a one-time, comprehensive eye exam for babies between 6 and 12 months of age, at no cost!

A baby’s vision plays such an important role in their development, and an early eye assessment can help identify potential concerns before they become bigger problems. Even if your little one seems to be seeing just fine, their eyes are still developing, and an early check is a great way to help make sure they’re on the right track!

We love getting to be a part of these little milestones and helping our tiniest patients get the best possible start to a lifetime of healthy vision!

Our team had such a wonderful and meaningful time at the Ovarian Cancer Coalition Walk!

We walked alongside Kelsey’s Krusaders in support of one of our patients and her sister, Kelsey, who is now over 10 years cancer-free! What an incredible milestone and such a beautiful reminder of the strength, hope, and support that surrounds those affected by cancer.

Thank you to everyone who participated, walked alongside us, and helped make the day so special. We’re so proud to stand Together in Teal!

Happy VT Appreciation Week!

We truly have some of the most amazing vision therapists, and we hope they know just how much they mean to us! The love, patience, encouragement, and care they pour into their patients every single day is something so special. They get to be part of some pretty incredible milestones, celebrate the little victories that turn into big ones, and help change lives in ways that go far beyond vision.

We see the hard work they put in, the connections they build, and the compassion in everything they do. We are so lucky to have them as part of our Elite family, and we honestly couldn’t imagine our team without them!

To our wonderful vision therapists, thank you for all that you do, for the difference you make in your patients’ lives, and for being the amazing people you are. We love you all so much and appreciate you more than anything! 💚

We’ll be opening later than our normally scheduled hours tomorrow! We will be taking some time in the morning for our monthly staff meeting and additional staff training.

Our Waukee office will be opening at 9:30am, and our Norwalk and Ankeny locations will be opening at 10:10am.

Our very own Dr. Bell was featured in Vision Source Magazine!

Stellest lenses have become an important part of our approach to myopia management, and we’re especially excited about what this means for the kiddos we care for! Helping slow the progression of myopia today can play an important role in supporting their long-term eye health and vision.

We’re incredibly lucky to have doctors like Dr. Bell who are always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and provide the very best care for our patients.

We had an absolute blast at this year’s Waukee Betterment Games!

It was so much fun getting together, getting a little competitive, and playing alongside other local businesses and organizations all while supporting a great cause!

Oh yeah, and we got first place. 🤭 Shoutout to Dr. Huisman’s team for bringing home the gold! We’re pretty proud of that one!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to have some fun, support our community, and be part of an event that gives back to the place we’re lucky to call home. Thank you to the Waukee Betterment Foundation for putting together such a fun event!

“My daughter was in to see Dr. Lisa Asman for her kindergarten eye exam today. She asked to bring her favorite stuffy, TeeTee, with her today. Dr Asman noticed her holding TeeTee during her exam and told her she would check TeeTee’s eyes today too. It was such a cute moment that I couldn’t help but snap a picture. Thank you for being such a great place to bring our kids!”
