Watching everything unfold lately has reminded me why I’ll always root for the small business owner!
Owning a local business isn’t just about selling a product or providing a service. It’s about taking a chance, investing in your community, creating jobs and showing up every single day. Even when things aren’t easy.
The truth is, most small business owners aren’t trying to beat anyone else. They’re simply trying to build something they’re proud of, provide for their families and make a positive impact in their community.
That’s why I love seeing local businesses support one another instead of viewing each other as competition. A recommendation, a shared post or choosing to spend your money with a hometown business can make a much bigger difference than most people realize.
So the next time you need a cup of coffee, a meal, a haircut, home repairs or just about anything else, consider giving a local business the opportunity to earn your business.
When small businesses grow, neighborhoods grow with them. More jobs are created, families are supported, and our communities become stronger because of it.
Here’s to the entrepreneurs chasing a dream, taking risks and serving the communities they call home.
