Meet Victoria 🔦—an esthetician whose facials are shaped by nearly 30 years of experience, a deep love of nature, and a lifelong understanding of caring for the body from the inside out.
When I met Victoria almost two years ago, she had just moved from JAMAICA to Connecticut. After such a major transition, one thing she missed most was caring for clients through touch. She came to Victorian Day Spa so excited to return to the treatment room, and I was immediately drawn to her enthusiasm, gentle nature, and calm, harmonious energy.
The more I learned about her, the more amazed I became.
Victoria grew up in rural Jamaica, deeply connected to the land and its rhythms. Her family grew much of their own food—fresh fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes, corn, and peas—and her grandfather brought home fish he caught for dinner. They bartered within their community for many of the other things they needed. As she says, “I didn’t know money. I didn’t know physical cash.”
She grew up learning about herbal remedies, foraging, movement, and the value of living close to nature. Today, her daily walks and time outdoors are essential to her mental well-being; the physical benefits are simply a beautiful side effect.
She has always loved movement and running, later competing as a sprinter in Jamaica. She is also the mother of two daughters and has incredibly radiant, healthy-looking skin.
As an esthetician, Victoria is deeply focused on results, but her philosophy is simple: less is more. She does not believe in overwhelming the skin with products just because they are available. Instead, she looks closely at what your skin needs now and creates a focused plan around the ingredients and treatments that can make the greatest difference.
Her energy is grounding, her hands are gentle, and you will truly be in the kindest hands with Victoria.
