Some questions can't be left unanswered

For a neurodivergent brain, that can be a little harder. Curiosity doesn’t always have an off switch. And that’s okay.

Sometimes curiosity is not just curiosity.

For some neurodivergent people, a random question can turn into an immediate need to know the answer.

A small detail comes up, and suddenly it has to be Googled. The movie gets paused. The original task gets forgotten. Five tabs become fifteen, and somehow you're now deep into a completely unrelated topic.

That ADHD + Autism combination can make curiosity feel less like “That’s interesting” and more like:

“I need to know this before my brain will let me move on.”

And honestly, there’s something pretty great about a brain that wants to understand everything.

Does your curiosity ever completely derail what you were doing? 👀👇

Language shapes how we understand ourselves and how others understand us. 💬

When autism is described as a scale from “less” to “more,” it can leave people feeling like their experience doesn't fit the picture. It isn't one-dimensional. Two people can have completely different experiences, strengths, challenges, and support needs. 🧠

There is no single way to look, and there is no single way to be. For people who have spent years feeling misunderstood, having language that accurately reflects their experience can be incredibly meaningful. 🙌

The more room we make for different experiences, the more people can recognize themselves without having to question whether they “fit.”🧩

Most of us spend way more time worrying about how we're being perceived than anyone else spends thinking about us. 🤔

For neurodivergent people, that can sometimes mean constantly monitoring how we're talking, moving, reacting, or coming across.

But you don't have to spend your life performing for an audience that isn't even watching.

Wear what feels comfortable.
Say what you mean.
Take up space.
Be yourself.

You deserve to experience your life, not constantly analyze how you're experiencing it. 💙

Thank you, Spider-Man. You’re saving people in and out of New York. 🗽🕷️

There’s something about Peter and Jean’s stories that resonates through a neurodivergent lens. 🧠

The overwhelm. The masking. The fear of being misunderstood. The pressure to separate the parts of yourself that feel “acceptable” from the parts you’ve been taught to hide. 🫣

And then there’s Aunt May. Her message wasn’t that being different makes you special. It was that you never needed to be special to be worthy of love.🫂

That message matters when we talk about neurodivergence. Because the goal isn’t to become easier for the world to understand. It’s having the space and support to exist as yourself without constantly feeling like you need to hide parts of who you are. 🙌

Maybe the real superpower is realizing you never needed to become someone else to be worthy of being understood. 💙

It's a lot, and most people have no idea

🔹the relief
🔹the grief
🔹the exhaustion

But more than anything...It's finally having something that makes sense. 💬
