Welcome to the Rushwood 2026 Flag Day celebration! Flag Day is an American holiday celebrated annually on June 14 that commemorates the adoption of the "Stars and Stripes" as the official flag of the United States. This year we were honored to be presented with a flag that was flown over our nation's Capitol as a gift from our friends at Capitol Federal! We also celebrated an annual installation of flags for each of our Rushwood veterans! Thirty-two in total! Flags will remain on display through July 4th!!

Today we are rounding out Pride Week by celebrating with the many colors of the rainbow!
Our culinary team went above and beyond to serve gorgeous rainbow cheesecakes for happy hour! Six layers of deliciousness! Topping off the party were glasses of Blue Malibu cocktails. Wishing you all a beautiful month of celebrating equality and the intrinsic holy value of each precious individual!

Happy Pride Week! Every day this week, we will be celebrating a different color of the rainbow. Today's color is purple, which is the color of spirit, thought to connect us to the spiritual realm.
Our culinary team served Pickled Beet Salad with an apple cider dill dressing and slivered onions as their featured purple dish!

Happy Pride Week! Every day this week, we are celebrating a different color of the rainbow. Today's color is blue, which represents serenity and the ability to feel calm.
Our culinary team served a Malibu and Blue Curacao cocktail with coconut milk, oranges, pineapple, lemon, a little chipotle chili powder and Sprite as their featured blue dish!

Happy Pride Week! Every day this week, we will be celebrating a different color of the rainbow. Today's color is green, which is synonymous with nature, a healing place, also associated with prosperity and growth.
Our culinary team served mint chocolate cake as their featured green dish!
Important to note, it uses all natural mint extract made in house by infusing mint into a vodka/water solution. We’re also using our all natural green dye made with red cabbage, baking soda, a pinch of saffron and tumeric and thickened with xanthum gum.
