Indigenous Roots - Sierra McFeeters I offer a unique blend of energy work , shamanic techniques, essential oils , and flower essences to I also offer Biomat sessions and detoxifying footbaths.

As a small child my great grandmother and father took me out into nature and taught me to love and respect this world. My father taught me that God was in the trees , the wind, the grasses. As a young girl I sat with that same great grandmother as she made her way painfully from this world to the next. In this process she taught me to be silent witness, to observe and to allow and feel energy. In

this way, she guided and prepared me to be comfortable with transitional and transformational thresholds. This path has led me from childbirth educator to midwife to Lightwork Energy Therapy to Reiki and then finally back to my roots as Shamanic practitioner. In 2010 my Abenaki grandmother gave me the great honor of being a pipe carrier. I`ve traveled to Peru to work with Shaman and was in an Abenaki medicine lodge for over seven yrs. I have apprenticed and been initiated by South American and North American Shaman, and most importantly by life itself. I bring great understanding , compassion and trust to the healing process and individual. My goal is to support and empower the clients inner knowing and body wisdom as I gently guide them back to wholeness and health. My passion is working with mental and physical stress, pain , PTSD and those feeling lost or disempowered. I offer individual sessions using Reiki , essential oils, Shamanic techniques ,and flower essences. Certification classes in Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki are available at all levels and degrees.
12- Month Shamanic Apprenticeships are available as well. Gift certificates are available.

Interviewing for the Shamanic Apprenticeship Year 1, 6month program, that begins this November!

The mutual interview will take approximately 30 minutes and can be scheduled to your convenience.

This year’s title is: 

Walking with the medicine.

Calling forth the wisdom keepers of our time. This is the time to discover your unique soul’s gifts, and step out into our world unapologetically aligned, rooted in
reciprocity and love, to share them.
This apprenticeship will not enable you, but will challenge you, to look deep within, to discover outworn and damaging beliefs, attitudes, and ways of acting that are habitual, possibly comfortable, but not authentic to your soul’s song.
The container of discovery is solid, consistent, held in compassionate community.

This program is VSAC Approved!

These six human beings just walked into the forest to begin their four day vision quest.
A few have never been away from their children this long.
It takes courage to put down the routine, the phone, the watch, the food, the water bottle, and to look within without distraction.
To be in the church of wild birdsong, sun filtering through the trees, waters falling, listening to the quiet voice of the heart, is an act of revolutionary power.
To reclaim the primal, feral nature before domestically indoctrinated influence, colonized belief, and the imposition of cultural norms is the medicine that supports our authentic self, and how we walk on this beautiful Mother Earth.
Please think of them this week, envisioning them held by the wisdom of their ancestors, and the heart of our world.
They do this for themselves, their families, and communities.

Last Thursday, these two wise women invited me to the Casita at Braelyn’s to receive some tender and effective care.
They are offering this to the community at large, and I highly encourage you to treat yourself.

This is the description:
A Collaborative Fascia Alchemy Session- a two-person bodywork experience held by Haley + Braelyn at the Casita.

It’s intuitive nervous system work rooted in deep rest, presence and helping the body unwind and soften through touch, stillness, breath, sound, and warmth.

The intention is for you to leave feeling grounded, open, connected to yourself and deeply cared for.

I left feeling this way and more….

The love and listening they held me in, allowed my being to release an old energetic pattern that my shoulder and hip were carrying.

Drum making is currently underway outside, and inside I’m making white pine, nettle, dandelion tea for the sweat lodge tomorrow. A simple life, connected to the land and people is satisfying and fulfilling. Grateful, while also acknowledging the pain around the edges.

A love letter from a treasured client.

Dear Sierra,
The work you did yesterday really helped me. I woke up this morning, put my feet on the ground, and felt like I weighed 300 pounds!! Solid! It was a very weird feeling, one I hadn't felt in - perhaps ever - but certainly not recently! A solid connection with Mother Earth. Amazing.
I slept a LOT last night, hard to wake up, which is good too - the grogginess keeps me in the right headspace so I don't go 'flying off' to my to-do list, as usual. I am very slooooowed down, plodding - a very different feeling for me. And a bag of beautiful cookies lures me into the day.
Thank you for the work you do with so much love and dedication - I'm deeply honored to be a part of it.

Lilly and I followed these moose tracks into the bog yesterday near Buck Lake. We never saw the moose, but the Painted Trillium are out, as well as the False Morels. We did happen upon a large Nettle patch and a moose yard though, which was great to see.
