A night of fun for a meaningful cause!
Our Speakeasy Benefit brought residents and staff together for an evening of dancing, desserts, laughter, and community spirit.
Thanks to this event and additional donations, Briarwood raised over $2,000 for the Alzheimer's Association!

Yesterday, The Briarwood Community was honored to host the opening of a beautiful watercolor gallery exhibition featuring the work of artist Pamela Haynes. Residents, family members, and guests enjoyed an afternoon surrounded by scenes inspired by Pam’s travels, family memories, and treasured moments.
A special highlight was welcoming Pam’s grandchildren, many of whom are featured throughout her artwork, bringing the collection even more meaning and heart.

These photos are just a small sneak peek into Pam’s collection of 42 beautiful watercolor pieces now on display at Briarwood. The exhibit is open to residents, families, and the public, and truly must be seen in person to appreciate the detail and heart behind each work of art.

We are proud to recognize our dedicated nurses at Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community, who support residents at Elms Assisted Living, Evergreens Memory Care, and one who serves as a trusted campus nurse resource for our independent living residents.
Thank you for your attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care in every interaction. The relationships you build across our community mean so much, and the care, guidance, and reassurance you provide each day are truly valued.

Today, we are honored to celebrate the incredible residents in our community who have dedicated their lives to the nursing profession. Your years of service in nursing reflect a commitment to caring for others and a career spent supporting patients, families, and communities.

To show our appreciation, we hosted a special High Tea in their honor, a small, sweet gesture for those who have spent their careers giving so much to others. It was a lovely celebration filled with stories, connection, and gratitude as we recognized the role nursing has played in your lives.

Thank you for your service and the legacy of care you continue to inspire every day.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Our Health Center got a festive makeover—transformed into a cozy Irish pub, complete with charming décor and a menu of “fancy beverages and Irish theme treats” that brought smiles all around.

Residents and staff enjoyed a wonderful morning filled with laughter, music, and a touch of Irish cheer.
