Yesterday was more than just an event, it was a beautiful reminder of the power of community, collaboration and connection.

As we celebrated the Community Intervention Centre's 25th birthday along side the Let's Connect event at SAPS Milnerton, we were reminded that real impact happens when people come together with one purpose: to uplift, support, and stand for one another.

Thank you to every partner, supporter, speaker, volunteer and community member who made the day so meaningful.

Together, we continue to create safer spaces, stronger communities, and hope for those who need it most.

Speacial mention to , British high commission, Freda from IPA, Antoinette Truter for the beautiful cake and cupcakes, and DSD for gracing the event with your presence.

Earlier today, CIC members joined several community focused organisations at the National Prosecuting Authority’s awareness drive hosted at Milnerton High School.

We had the opportunity to showcase our trauma and GBV counselling and support services, while also promoting anti bullying awareness. More than 1,300 learners attended and engaged enthusiastically in this impactful initiative.

The NPA regularly runs educational and awareness outreach programs in Western Cape schools to prevent crime and explain the consequences of bullying.
