After breast cancer surgery, finding what feels comfortable is personal. Knitted Knockers offer a soft cotton option, and they’re available FREE at Capital Radiology’s Mammography Department for our breastsurvivors who have had a mastectomy or lumpectomy.

Donated bras are sorted, gift-tagged and distributed to women in underserved communities.

As we wrap up this month’s PET scan spotlight at Capital Radiology, we’re celebrating the people behind the scans, with big smiles, a few playful moments and plenty of team spirit!

Behind every scan is a team that communicates, supports one another and brings their skills together with one shared focus: our patients. Through busy days and moments of laughter, we know that when we work well together, we perform better together.

Think breast cancer only affects people who are BRCA-positive? That’s a common misconception.

Most breast cancer cases occur in people without a known inherited BRCA mutation. Whether your genetic risk is known or not, stay aware of breast changes and follow the screening guidance appropriate for you.
