Recently, Professor Louise Hull presented at the 33rd International Congress of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia, where she shared research and clinical experience alongside leading clinicians and researchers from around the world.

Her presentation, 'Imaging in Endometriosis: Can We Truly Replace a Surgical Diagnosis?', explored one of the most significant areas of ongoing research in endometriosis care. As our understanding continues to evolve, these conversations help shape how we diagnose the condition earlier, reduce unnecessary procedures where appropriate and ensure patients receive the most effective care for their individual circumstances.

It's through this ongoing commitment to learning, collaboration and evidence-based practice that we continue to bring the latest knowledge and innovations back to the patients we care for at Embrace Fertility.

At Embrace Fertility, our commitment to research is driven by one simple goal: continually improving the care we provide our patients.

In this video, Dr Monika Skubisz explains how factors such as nutrition, blood work and overall metabolic health can influence egg and s***m quality, embryo development and pregnancy outcomes.

The recent shift from the term PCOS to PMOS is one example of how our understanding of fertility continues to evolve. It reflects the growing recognition of the important role metabolic health plays in reproductive medicine and why ongoing research remains so important in helping us provide more personalised, evidence-based care.

Advancing fertility care starts with never stopping learning.

Dr Ritu Dutta is currently representing Australia at an international workshop in Brussels, exploring the latest advances in IVF alongside leading experts from around the world.

Pictured here with Professor André Van Steirteghem, one of the pioneers behind intracytoplasmic s***m injection (ICSI), Dr Dutta is gaining insights from those who have helped shape modern fertility medicine. Since its introduction in the early 1990s, ICSI has transformed the treatment of male infertility and helped millions of families worldwide.

At Embrace Fertility, we're committed to continually learning, collaborating and bringing the latest evidence and innovations back to the patients we care for here in South Australia.

South Australian IVF Rebate Update

There is welcome news for eligible South Australians beginning or continuing their fertility journey.

From 1 July 2026, the South Australian Government's IVF Rebate Scheme provides eligible patients with a $2,000 rebate per IVF cycle (for up to two cycles), along with a $250 rebate for eligible pre-IVF fertility testing.

For many people, the financial cost of fertility treatment can add another layer to an already emotional journey. This initiative is designed to help reduce some of those out-of-pocket costs and improve access to fertility care for eligible South Australians.

If you're considering treatment with Embrace Fertility, or are already a patient, our team can help you understand how the rebate may apply to your individual circumstances and answer any questions you may have.

Please note that eligibility criteria apply and rebates are administered through the South Australian Government. Contact Embrace Fertility on 1300 848 470 to learn more about your treatment options.

Sometimes the most important part of fertility care is simply taking the time to listen.

Every consultation at Embrace Fertility is an opportunity to understand the individual behind the referral, the questions they have and the goals they're working towards. From there, our specialists develop a personalised plan informed by clinical expertise, research and a genuine understanding of each patient's circumstances.

It's an approach that ensures patients feel informed, supported and cared for as a person, not just a patient.

At Embrace Fertility, we know that feeling comfortable can make all the difference.

That's why we've thoughtfully designed our practice to offer a range of welcoming, private spaces where patients can take a moment before appointments, blood tests or scans.

Whether you prefer a quiet corner to yourself or simply a calm environment to pause and gather your thoughts, we hope every part of your experience at Embrace Fertility feels considered, supportive and centred around you.

We know that a lot of fertility care happens at home.

That's why our doctors and nurses take the time to thoroughly explain treatment plans, demonstrate how to administer medications and ensure patients feel confident in the steps ahead.

And if questions come up, we're only a phone call away. Our team is readily available to provide guidance and reassurance, with an after-hours support line available for additional peace of mind.

Because care doesn't stop when you leave the clinic 🤍
