This Crazy Socks for Docs week, we’re especially thinking of doctors working away from the cities...in hospitals, clinics, communities and on call.

For rural and remote doctors, getting care for yourself can be complicated by distance and the feeling that you simply have to keep going.

Why not check-in on a rural doctor or medical student you know?

Doctors’ Health SA & NT exists because doctors and medical students all over SA & NT deserve independent, confidential support too.

24/7 urgent advice: 08 8366 0250

02/06/2026

Most doctors are very good at noticing when someone else needs help. They’re not always as quick to notice it in themselves.

This Crazy Socks for Docs week, let’s make the check-in normal:
“Are you actually okay?”
“Have you got your own GP?”
“Do you need backup?”

For urgent, confidential advice for doctors and medical students in the SA & NT call 08 8366 0250

Share this with your team and plan your socks for Friday.

Crazy Socks for Docs Day is this Friday, 5 June and we're inviting doctors, medical students, hospitals, practices and teams across SA and NT to wear bright socks and check in with the people who spend their lives caring for everyone else.

If you’re a doctor or medical student and something feels hard, confidential support is available. Call 08 8366 0250 for 24/7 urgent advice in SA & the NT
