It was on this date when the United States' CDC reported on five cases of a mysterious disease affecting young gay men.

Join us this Thursday 5 June at 57 Hyde Street to reflect and raise awareness of issues, needs, and the stories carried by HIV Long-Term Survivors.

Protests targeting an IDAHOBIT event at a school in Adelaide this morning.

This is exactly why these days exist β€” young people should be able to show up safely, without intimidation.

More below. ⬇️

Today’s scenes outside Reynella East College were deeply concerning.

Schools choosing inclusion are choosing kindness, safety and respect for every student.

We stand with the students, staff, families and allies at Reynella East College, and with every young person who deserves to feel safe and valued at school. πŸ’™πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

One new case of mpox was recently identified in Adelaide alongside rising cases interstate. Here's what to do.

1️⃣ Make sure you're double vaxxed. Book an mpox vaccine appointment at Adelaide Sexual Health Centre or SHINE SA.

2️⃣ Watch for symptoms including fever, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, proctitis (inflammation of the re**um), and visible rashes or lesions.

3️⃣ Visit your GP or get a sexual health check if symptoms are present.

You know what to do. Learn more at thorneharbour.org/mpox

From 1 July 2026, people living with HIV in South Australia will be able to access free HIV antiretroviral treatment medications via SA public hospital pharmacies with a public hospital issued prescription.

This initiative is a step closer to equitable access for PLHIV and aims to bring South Australia in alignment with other jurisdictions across Australia.

Ann Fletcher's story after many decades was memorialised at a private event at Diverse-City last Sunday.

Her friends and family crafted a quilt panel in her memory, and it was an honour for our team to support this effort.

Ann's experience as a nurse in Sydney during the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic drives home the widespread and indiscriminate impact of the virus.

Thank you to Ann's family and friends for their openness and for allowing us to support to this powerful act of memorialisation.
