Construction Update - September:
Exciting progress as the Leisure Centre roof is now complete, it's all systems go on the interiors. Work is progressing on the grand foyer, pool, sauna (right hand side in the photo) cinema and auditorium spaces (left hand side).
The four luxury apartments are also taking shape. With the Gyprock now in place, cabinetry and wet area tiling is next on the list.

Get to Know the Locals: The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Just a short distance from Living Choice Galston, The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the Hills District's important community organisations, dedicated to protecting and caring for Australia's native wildlife.
The Sanctuary's passionate team of staff and volunteers rescues, rehabilitates and cares for injured, orphaned and displaced native animals, with the aim of returning them to the wild whenever possible. Their work extends beyond wildlife care, playing an important role in conservation, education and community awareness throughout the region.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Sanctuary relies on the support of volunteers and the local community to continue its important work. It's a wonderful example of the people and organisations that help make the Hills District such a special place to call home.

Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or simply enjoy being connected to the local community, The Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a neighbour worth getting to know.

Construction is progressing well, with some exciting milestones recently achieved.

The Leisure Centre roof structure is complete; apartment gyprock installation and balcony waterproofing are well underway; and work has commenced on the ground-floor interiors. Tiling has also begun around the pool area, bringing this resort-style space to life.

At the community entrance, new landscaping is taking shape with rail fencing, trees & plants carefully selected to suit the local environment, creating a beautiful backdrop to the Village.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the community continues to grow.

Another fantastic milestone at Living Choice Galston as guests have stepped inside the Leisure Centre site for an exclusive sneak peek of what’s to come.

With construction well underway and completion set for late 2026, this impressive centre is already shaping up to be the community’s go‑to destination for wellness, social connection and everyday enjoyment. Foreman Steve guided the group through the emerging spaces, shared behind‑the‑scenes insights and chatted through plans for each area.
